The Delivery Manager for Fuel Supply & Logistics at bp plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the technology platforms that optimize fuel planning, scheduling, and distribution processes across the company's transport and logistics (TA) network. This role involves leading the roadmap for key projects such as the modernization of the Fuel Shepherd platform, cloud migration efforts, and operational improvements aimed at boosting forecasting accuracy, supply chain performance, and overall operational reliability. The Delivery Manager will be hands-on, collaborating closely with business partners, engineering teams, designers, and other cross-functional groups to deliver practical and scalable digital solutions that address complex supply challenges.

Ideal candidates will be adept at balancing strategic and tactical responsibilities, making daily decisions on priorities, budgets, quality, and timelines to ensure alignment with bp's operational, financial, and customer-centric goals. The role requires a strong aptitude for Agile delivery methodologies, vendor and resource management, financial oversight, and data-driven decision-making. Job Requirements

Computer science degree or equivalent work experience
strong supply chain experience in oil and gas including familiarity with fuel supply, logistics, terminal operations, inventory, scheduling, or distribution processes
strong understanding of SAP ERP preferred
experience with enterprise data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake preferred
ability to use AI-enabled tools and automation effectively
excellent balance of strategic and tactical execution
strong communication and influence skills
motivated problem solver

Job Qualifications

Computer Science degree or equivalent work experience
strong supply chain experience in oil and gas including familiarity with fuel supply, logistics, terminal operations, inventory, scheduling, or distribution
understanding of SAP ERP especially supporting supply chain, finance, procurement, inventory, logistics, or enterprise integration
experience with enterprise data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake for operational insights and forecasting improvements
ability to maximize AI-enabled tools and automation for delivery effectiveness and process improvements

Job Duties

Oversee projects involving the development and implementation of products, platforms, and business processes that support TA fuel planning, supply scheduling, terminal/lift coordination, and site-level fuel availability
create and manage roadmaps, schedules, and budgets for initiatives such as Fuel Shepherd modernization, cloud migration, and operational enhancements across the TA network
act as the main liaison between TA Fuel Supply, Logistics, Pricing, Finance, bp Digital, development teams, and globally dispersed partners
incorporate Agile frameworks to align and track project progress, resolve dependencies, and ensure continuous delivery of value
monitor the health and performance of TA supply platforms and processes including forecasting accuracy, scheduling efficiency, inventory visibility, exception management, and operational reliability
manage internal teams, external suppliers, and technology partners supporting TA delivery including bp Digital teams and partner squads like Infosys and Accenture
oversee budget planning, allocation, and tracking for TA Fuel Supply & Logistics initiatives
provide accurate reporting to support decision-making, optimize resource utilization, and ensure investment alignment with business priorities and bp governance
act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders managing expectations and resolving escalated risks and dependencies
promote Agile methodologies and continuously improve team performance through feedback and process optimization
