The University of Southern Indiana location is seeking a Senior Culinary Supervisor to join their full-time team, with a competitive pay rate ranging from $22.00 to $26.00 per hour. This position is pivotal within Sodexo’s food operations, providing leadership and oversight to ensure excellent service delivery across varied dining formats including fast casual, coffee/counter service, cafeterias, events/banquets, casual dining, and cafes. As a Senior Culinary Supervisor, you will be essential in coordinating day-to-day activities, supervising service employees, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The role involves working primarily during weekday morning shifts, focusing on creating an efficient and positive work environment while meeting client expectations.

In this leadership role, you will support management by overseeing key functions and facilitating communication between staff and customers to resolve any concerns. You'll play a vital part in maintaining a safe work environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Training and orientation of new employees are key responsibilities, enabling you to foster a knowledgeable, skilled, and motivated team. Job Duties

  • Provide support to management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
  • Assist in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees
  • Facilitate orientation and training of employees
  • Work with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service, and problem resolution
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned which may differ among accounts depending on business necessities and client requirements
