The role of Senior Corporate Operations Director for a client based in Irvine, CA, is a pivotal leadership position within a managed hotel portfolio. This position reports directly to the President of the organization and serves as the primary liaison between corporate leadership and individual hotel operational teams. The Senior Corporate Operations Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, including Rooms and Food and Beverage departments, ensuring consistent and exemplary service standards across all properties.

This role demands a strategic and hands-on leader capable of managing multiple, deadline-driven tasks within a fast-paced environment. The Senior Corporate Operations Director leads hotel teams to enhance financial performance while elevating guest and employee satisfaction, leveraging a variety of tools such as brand resources and industry trend data. Additionally, the role involves assisting with new hotel builds and transitions, ensuring smooth operational rollouts and adherence to brand and company standards.

Key responsibilities include managing operational budgets, monitoring guest service scores and online reviews, creating and implementing standardized operating procedures, and ensuring compliance with quality assurance, safety, environmental, and infection control policies. The director also plays a crucial role in geographic and portfolio-wide capital project oversight and maintaining consistency in operational excellence. Candidates must bring a strong passion for hospitality operations, backed by over a decade of diverse experience in hotel operations management, including at least five years at the corporate level. Job Duties

  • Report directly to the President of the organization
  • Work directly with hotel operational teams including Rooms and Food and Beverage
  • Lead hotel teams to improve operational performance financially and through guest and employee satisfaction
  • Assist with all aspects of the managed hotel portfolio including new builds and transitions
  • Manage multiple deadline-oriented tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Build and sustain positive relationships
  • Ensure hotels meet operational budgets
  • Review guest service scores and online reviews monthly and develop action plans
  • Create and implement operating standards, tools, and resources tailored to hotel needs
  • Monitor capital projects and budgets for timely completion
  • Assist hotel teams with annual operational goals and objectives
  • Roll out and ensure compliance with all required brand initiatives
  • Suggest operational and capital improvements and monitor routine maintenance
  • Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, quality assurance, safety, environmental, and infection control standards
  • Work with branded hotels to review QA inspections and address opportunities
  • Support succession planning and task force placement
  • Manage overall financial performance by analyzing reports and addressing opportunities
  • Implement company standard operating procedures
  • Coach and mentor general managers on operational issues
  • Assist with new build development and hotel transitions
  • Perform other duties as assigned
