Prior healthcare experience is beneficial but not mandatory. This role requires the ability to work efficiently within tight production schedules and to operate a variety of commercial kitchen equipment such as stoves, ovens, steam-jacketed kettles, broilers, grills, and deep fryers. The Senior Cook will also assist with ancillary tasks including dishwashing, food prep, unboxing supplies, inventory management, and restocking shelves.

Banner Health offers a supportive work environment where teamwork and leadership in cooking and food preparation are valued. The position provides a flat rate weekend shift differential and requires flexibility with shifts, currently scheduled Thursday through Monday from 12:00 pm to 8:30 pm, with days off on Tuesday and Wednesday.
