Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of senior cook experience
  • ability to work full time Monday through Friday with varying hours
  • ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • capability to operate kitchen equipment safely
  • strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of senior cook experience
  • knowledge of food safety standards including HACCP
  • ability to operate and maintain kitchen equipment
  • strong organizational skills
  • effective communication and team leadership abilities
  • experience in food preparation and recipe adherence
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Prepare various entrees and menu items following established recipes
  • oversee cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by Food Service Director
  • operate and clean kitchen equipment after each use
  • perform scheduled routine cleaning and sanitation
  • store, label, and date food items according to policy
  • maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated and frozen products
  • follow HACCP guidelines to ensure safety and quality of food supply
  • comply with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations
  • assist Food Service Director in maintaining accurate daily production records and completing required documentation
  • assist in cross-training employees
  • perform other duties as assigned
