Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior batch cooking and catering experience
  • ability to work full time with flexible schedule and open availability preferred
  • ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods and lifting heavy items
  • compliance with health and safety regulations
  • ability to communicate effectively in English

  • prior batch cooking and catering experience
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to follow recipes and guidelines precisely
  • strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
  • ability to maintain cleanliness and equipment operation standards

Job Duties

  • prepare various entrees and menu items following established recipes
  • oversee cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by Food Service Director
  • operate and clean kitchen equipment after each use
  • perform scheduled routine cleaning
  • store, label and date food items according to policy
  • maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated and frozen products
  • follow HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply
  • comply with health and sanitation regulations
  • assist Food Service Director in maintaining accurate production records and required documentation
  • assist in cross training of employees
  • perform other duties as assigned
