Job Requirements
- valid California Food Handlers card
- minimum 2 years of cook experience
- kitchen leadership experience preferred
- open availability Monday through Friday with occasional nights or weekends
- ability to comply with health and safety standards
- strong organizational and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- minimum of 2 years of cook experience
- kitchen leadership experience preferred
- valid California Food Handlers card
- knowledge of federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations
- experience with HACCP guidelines
- ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively
Job Duties
- prepares various entrees and menu items following established recipes
- operates and cleans equipment after each use
- performs scheduled routine cleaning
- stores, labels and dates food items according to policy
- helps maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated and frozen products
- follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply
- assists food service director in maintaining accurate daily production records and completes all required documentation, reports, and logs as assigned
