Job Requirements

  • Five years of prior high-volume kitchen experience required
  • ability to work full-time with varied day schedule from 6:00 am to 3:30 pm
  • ability to comply with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations
  • capability to perform physical tasks associated with cooking and kitchen work
  • willingness to participate in training and development programs
  • ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
  • availability to work at Comcast Center location in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • five years of prior high-volume kitchen experience required
  • knowledge of food preparation and safety standards
  • ability to operate kitchen equipment
  • strong organizational skills
  • experience in supervising or leading kitchen staff
  • ability to follow recipes and maintain food quality

Job Duties

  • May oversee the cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by Food Service Director
  • prepares various entrees and menu items following established recipes
  • operates and cleans equipment after each use
  • performs scheduled routine cleaning
  • stores, labels and dates food items according to policy
  • helps maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated and frozen products
  • follows HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply
