Job Qualifications
- Previous food service or cook experience
- Ability to follow established recipes and food safety guidelines
- Knowledge of HACCP and sanitation standards
- Experience in operating and cleaning kitchen equipment
- Capability to maintain accurate production records
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Job Duties
- Prepares various entrees and menu items following established recipes
- Oversees cooking activities of food service associates as assigned
- Operates and cleans kitchen equipment
- Performs scheduled routine cleaning tasks
- Stores, labels, and dates food items according to policy
- Helps maintain organized storage of dry goods and refrigerated and frozen products
- Follows HACCP guidelines to ensure food safety
- Complies with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations
- Assists with maintaining daily production records and documentation
- Supports cross-training of employees
