Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in cooking or food preparation
  • Preferably supervisory experience in food service
  • Ability to work full time with varying hours including weekends
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight
  • Compliance with health and sanitation regulations

  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to prepare food according to established recipes
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Experience with food storage and labeling
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Effective communication and team collaboration skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation

Job Duties

  • Oversee the cooking activities of food service associates as assigned by Food Service Director
  • Prepare various entrees and menu items following established recipes
  • Operate and clean equipment after each use and perform routine cleaning
  • Store, label and date food items according to policy and maintain organized storage
  • Follow HACCP guidelines to ensure quality and safety of food supply
  • Comply with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department procedures
  • Assist in maintaining accurate daily production records and complete assigned documentation
  • Assist in cross training of employees
  • Perform other duties as assigned
