The Senior Cook position at Sodexo, located at FANNIE MAE in Plano, is a full-time role offering a pay range of $19.00 to $21.00 per hour. Job Requirements

  • Four or more years of related work experience preferred
  • Ability to follow complex recipes and food preparation instructions
  • Experience with classical and contemporary cooking, plating, and garnishing techniques
  • Flexibility to work weekday morning shifts
  • Ability to train and oversee production staff
  • Reliable work attendance
  • Commitment to maintaining food safety and quality standards

Job Duties

  • Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events
  • Follow complex recipes and/or product directions
  • Produce small to large batch goods using advanced and full range of classical and contemporary cooking, plating and garnishing techniques
  • May have oversight over the production staff, train and assign tasks
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Perform other duties as assigned depending on business necessities and client requirements
