With a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, Sodexo fosters a welcoming environment where all employees are valued and respected for their individuality and contributions. Their strong corporate values support a culture of belonging and continuous growth, empowering every team member to thrive and make a meaningful impact within their roles.

The Senior Cook position at Sodexo is a full-time opportunity located at the Renown South Meadows Medical Center. This role offers a competitive pay rate of $22.00 per hour and involves working morning shifts on varying days, detailed further during the interview process. This role requires a strong knowledge of culinary techniques—both classical and contemporary—as well as the ability to follow complex recipes accurately. You will be expected to produce small to large batch goods using a full range of cooking and plating methods that showcase creativity and precision. In addition to your culinary expertise, leadership and teamwork skills are important since you may have oversight over production staff, assisting with training and task assignments to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

The Senior Cook position at Sodexo is more than just preparing food; it is about reducing food waste and contributing to a positive dining experience for customers by combining cooking skills with genuine hospitality. Being dependable with punctuality and capable of maintaining a safe, healthy working environment are essential qualities for success in this role. Sodexo values workers who are adaptable, reliable, and committed to the team dynamic, creating a supportive atmosphere where everyone can flourish.

In return, Sodexo offers a flexible and supportive work environment that respects the importance of work-life balance. Employees have access to ongoing training, development, and advancement opportunities designed to turn everyday work into a fulfilling career. The benefits package is comprehensive, covering paid time off, holidays, medical, dental, vision, tuition reimbursement, 401(k) plans, and employee discount programs. Depending on the site, additional perks may include free meals or meal allowances during shifts, uniforms, safety shoes, public transportation support, and parking availability.

As a Senior Cook at Sodexo, you are joining a company that is deeply committed to social and environmental progress, economic contribution, and enhancing quality of life. Your role will have a direct positive influence on customers and the community while advancing your culinary career within a respected and inclusive organization.
