Job Description

Innovative Hospitality Solutions (IHS) is a premier management advisory firm dedicated to transforming onsite food and hospitality programs within corporate, healthcare, senior living, and educational sectors. Since its founding in 2006, IHS has been instrumental in helping organizations enhance their hospitality services by aligning operational strategies with their mission and culture to deliver exceptional experiences. Known for its data-driven approach and measurable results, IHS partners with leading healthcare systems and higher education institutions to elevate food, hospitality, and workplace amenity programs that improve satisfaction, operational efficiency, and financial performance.

The Senior Consultant role at IHS is a highly visible, strategic, and client-facing position designed for professionals who excel in translating complex operational environments into actionable recommendations. This role involves leading advisory engagements across the healthcare and higher education sectors, offering expertise in operational assessments, financial analysis, contract negotiations, program optimization, and transformation roadmaps. The Senior Consultant acts as the day-to-day lead for assigned client accounts, working closely with executives such as CFOs, COOs, campus dining leaders, and clinical nutrition teams. Emphasizing a balance of strategic thinking and operational expertise, the Senior Consultant is essential in building trusted client relationships and delivering insights that drive measurable improvements.

This position requires a strong foundation in food service, hospitality, or dining operations, ideally with a background in healthcare systems or higher education dining. Experience working with outsourced food service models such as Compass, Sodexo, or Aramark is highly valued. The role also demands strong financial acumen including profit and loss management, contract economics, and cost optimization strategies that do not compromise guest experience. Senior Consultants must be confident presenters with excellent storytelling skills who can manage multiple engagements simultaneously while fostering collaboration with internal teams, including quality assurance, procurement, and culinary subject matter experts.

The Senior Consultant will contribute to developing scalable frameworks, tools, and repeatable methodologies that enhance the IHS advisory model, thereby reinforcing the firm's industry leadership. This role offers a flexible or remote work environment with approximately 30-50% travel required to meet client needs. Reporting to the COO and Advisory Leadership, the Senior Consultant will support and sometimes lead initiatives ranging from RFP development and contract negotiations to technology integration and program transformation efforts. Joining IHS means working in a dynamic culture that values continuous learning, diversity, and growth. Individuals passionate about elevating hospitality programs within high-impact environments and shaping next-generation advisory models will find a rewarding opportunity at IHS.
