Job Requirements

  • 1 year experience
  • food protection manager certification issued by an ANAB-CFP accredited food sanitation program within 90 days
  • ability to supervise kitchen staff
  • knowledge of International Dysphagia Diet Standardization (IDDSI) standards
  • ability to manage scheduling, evaluations, and order verification
  • effective communication skills
  • availability for every other weekend and holiday rotation

Job Qualifications

  • 1 year experience
  • food protection manager certification issued by an ANAB-CFP accredited food sanitation program within 90 days
  • associate of arts in food service or vocational/technical training preferred
  • certified food protection manager (CFPM) issued by State of MN preferred

Job Duties

  • support key culinary operations by assisting with health inspections, menu planning, and daily prep task sheets
  • prepare and cook food items to specified temperatures following standardized recipes
  • weigh and measure ingredients per standardized recipes
  • assemble meals and bakery items within designated time frames
  • assist and coordinate special events with the Culinary Director
  • prepare texturized diets utilizing International Dysphagia Diet Standardization (IDDSI) standards
  • supervise kitchen staff and manage daily operations and customer service in the supervisor's absence
  • communicate resident and guest feedback on meal and service quality
  • oversee kitchen operations in the Culinary Director's absence including scheduling, evaluations, and order verification
