Currently, Conrad Indianapolis is seeking a Senior Catering Sales Manager to be a vital member of the Catering and Events team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to advance your career within a Fortune 500 company recognized globally for luxury hospitality. The Senior Catering Sales Manager will primarily focus on the social market, overseeing the sale and management of social events such as weddings and galas, while also handling a portfolio of corporate events. This position requires a professional with strong catering sales experience—preferably between three to five years—with a demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional sales results through relationship building and strategic event planning.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of hotel sales and catering systems, with particular expertise in using Delphi.fdc software to maximize operational efficiency. Educational qualifications include a degree in business, hospitality, or a related field, and professional certifications such as CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) or CPCE (Certified Professional Catering Executive) would be advantageous.

In this role, you will be the driving force behind growing the catering market segment by attracting new clients, cultivating lasting relationships with existing accounts, and creatively designing event experiences that not only meet but exceed guest expectations. You will be directly responsible for managing the sales process from proposal development and contract negotiation to overseeing the seamless execution of events. Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum three years of relevant catering sales experience
