Senior Casualty Claims Specialist - Southeast

The Personal Lines Casualty Team at Liberty Mutual focuses on managing claims related to personal lines such as automobile and homeowner insurance, specifically handling bodily injury claims involving attorney representation and litigation.

Currently, Liberty Mutual's Casualty Attorney Represented team is seeking Senior Claims Specialists to join their workforce. This role is integral in managing attorney represented and litigated auto and homeowner’s bodily injury claims. The Senior Claims Specialist will be responsible for conducting thorough investigations, evaluating coverage and liability issues, and resolving claims efficiently. This position entails providing exceptional customer service by promptly addressing policyholders' needs and delivering quality claim resolutions for cases that range from mild to moderate severity or complexity.

The Senior Claims Specialist role operates on Eastern Standard Time and offers flexible working arrangements including hybrid and fully remote options based on the candidate’s proximity to a Liberty Mutual Claims office. Candidates living within 50 miles of a Liberty Mutual Claims office will work on-site at least two days per month, while those residing further away may be eligible for fully remote work.

This role involves collaboration with trial counsel, preparing for and attending trials, hearings, and conferences, ensuring accurate communication with policyholders, witnesses, and claimants, and managing legal billing for outside and in-house counsel. A critical component of success in this role is consistent attendance and engagement during training, paired with a strong focus on legal and insurance industry knowledge.
