The Senior Claims Specialist role is based within Liberty Mutual's Personal Lines Casualty Attorney Represented team and focuses on managing attorney represented and litigated auto and homeowner's bodily injury claims. This is a hybrid or fully remote role depending on the candidate's proximity to a Liberty Mutual Claims office. The position operates on Pacific or Mountain Standard Time schedules. The Senior Claims Specialist is primarily responsible for the investigation, management, and resolution of claims ranging from mild to moderate severity or complexity while ensuring prompt, quality service to policyholders. This includes evaluating coverage, liability, and damages, as well as settling claims within established authority levels. The specialist also plays a key role in identifying potential suspicious claims and subrogation opportunities, preparing for trials, and working closely with trial counsel and in-house legal teams. Communication with policyholders, witnesses, and other claimants is crucial for accurate information gathering and proper claim resolution. Additionally, the role requires managing billing practices and activities related to outside and in-house counsel, maintaining detailed claim files, and safeguarding financial and claim information security.
