This vibrant community is part of Erickson Senior Living, one of the country’s largest and most respected providers of senior living and health care. Erickson Senior Living is dedicated to creating an exceptional environment that supports the health, well-being, and lifestyle of its residents, while also fostering a supportive workplace culture for its employees. Brooksby Village proudly offers a diverse, inclusive, and equitable culture, where team members are valued and encouraged to grow both personally and professionally. In addition to its commitment to excellence in care and community living, Brooksby Village provides significant benefits including medical, dental, and vision plans, generous PTO policies, 401(k) opportunities with company match, and employee discounts on dining. The community also encourages volunteerism through company-paid volunteer hours, promoting connection both within and beyond the campus.
We are actively seeking a passionate and experienced Campus Executive Chef to lead the culinary team at Brooksby Village. This leadership role involves overseeing culinary operations across multiple dining venues within the community, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation are consistently maintained. As the Campus Executive Chef, you will work closely with the Director and Assistant Director of Food and Beverage to deliver an exceptional dining experience that not only meets but exceeds the expectations of residents and guests. This role requires a strong leader committed to fostering a culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous growth among the culinary staff.
The Campus Executive Chef will be instrumental in driving innovation within the culinary program while maintaining operational excellence. Responsibilities include strategic planning to enhance food and beverage operations, managing budgets effectively to minimize waste, and ensuring compliance with all federal and state health regulations, including Health Department and HAACP standards. Additionally, the role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with residents through regular interactions in the dining venues, helping to create a welcoming atmosphere that supports resident satisfaction and well-being.
This position offers competitive compensation commensurate with experience, ranging from $95,000 to $110,000 annually, plus eligibility for an annual bonus. Brooksby Village also provides ample opportunities for growth, as Erickson Senior Living continues to expand its footprint across the country. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years' experience as an Executive Chef, preferably with fine dining credentials and a comprehensive knowledge of ala carte and catering trends. Proficiency in PC software and POS systems such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint is expected to efficiently manage food service operations and reporting.
Joining Brooksby Village means becoming part of a team that values diversity, inclusion, and a strong sense of belonging. It offers a balance between work and life commitments and dedication to employee development. Erickson Senior Living's equal opportunity commitment ensures a workplace free from unlawful discrimination and harassment. If you are a culinary professional ready to make a meaningful impact in a respected and supportive senior living community, we encourage you to apply and contribute to the continued success and vibrant lifestyle at Brooksby Village.
