Job Description

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts, a prestigious brand under Marriott International, represents a timeless blend of classic glamour and forward-thinking luxury, offering exceptional experiences at more than 50 luxury hotels and resorts worldwide. Founded with the debut of the St. Regis Hotel in New York by John Jacob Astor IV in the early 20th century, this brand continues to set the standard for service excellence. With a commitment to delivering unparalleled guest experiences through a refined team of gracious hosts and exclusive butler services, St. Regis consistently crafts a sophisticated yet modern luxury environment. As part of Marriott International’s extensive portfolio, St. Regis stands at the forefront of innovation while honoring its rich heritage, making it a magnet for individuals passionate about luxury hospitality and exceptional service.

The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort in Bal Harbour, Florida, is currently seeking to hire a Full-Time Non-Management Superior Waiter who will oversee the operation and delivery of waiter services, ensuring that the St. Regis brand standards are meticulously upheld from pre-arrival through the guest's stay and departure. This position involves supervising the waiter team—which includes waiters and waiter assistants—fostering excellent coordination with other hotel departments, and managing personnel functions such as interviewing, hiring, and scheduling in order to maintain optimal staffing levels. As the face of the waiter program and a primary ambassador of luxury, the Superior Waiter must possess a deep passion for service, uncompromising standards, the ability to anticipate guest needs, and impeccable interpersonal skills.

This role is integral to maintaining the hotel’s excellence in guest service by creating a safe and professional work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures, and upholding high-quality standards along with professional appearance and communication. Physical demands include standing, sitting, and moving for extended periods, as well as actively performing tasks such as lifting and moving objects up to 23 kg (50 lbs) independently. St. Regis seeks candidates who are passionate and dedicated to executing these responsibilities flawlessly to ensure guest satisfaction and the smooth operation of the hotel day-to-day.

Ideal candidates will have at least one year of relevant work experience and hold a high school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) certificate. Although supervisory experience is not required, the role demands proactive leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a dynamic team in a fast-paced luxury hospitality setting. Working at St. Regis is an opportunity to be part of a global team driven by diversity, innovation, and excellence, where you can grow into your best self and fulfill your professional purpose within a supportive and inclusive environment. Marriott International is committed to equal opportunity employment and fostering a workplace free from discrimination, valuing the diverse backgrounds and experiences of its associates worldwide. Joining St. Regis means becoming part of a storied legacy with a bright and innovative future in luxury hotel service.
