The Senior Beverage Director role at Castaway is a dynamic, high-energy leadership position responsible for managing an elevated, high-volume beverage program. Candidates for this position should bring robust experience managing complex beverage operations in upscale establishments, ideally with annual revenues exceeding $30 million. This hands-on role will require a focus on execution, system management, and delivering measurable results. The Senior Beverage Director will oversee everything from beverage menu curation — considering market trends, guest preferences, and seasonal changes — to stringent cost control and inventory management.

This leader will ensure compliance with all beverage laws and responsible alcohol service standards while training and educating the beverage team to uphold superior knowledge and service techniques. The role requires fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development among staff, maintaining exceptional beverage quality and service, and collaborating closely with the culinary team to create harmonious food and beverage pairings that elevate the overall guest experience.

The successful candidate will be highly organized, data-driven, and possess exceptional leadership and communication skills. They will have a passion for hospitality as a craft and the ability to build and mentor high-performing teams. This position requires flexibility, including willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
