CEC Entertainment, LLC, headquartered in Irving, Texas, is a nationally recognized leader in family dining and entertainment. The company proudly operates the iconic Chuck E. Cheese, Peter Piper Pizza, and Chuck's Arcade brands, providing engaging environments where families and kids can enjoy great food and fun moments together. With nearly 600 Chuck E. Cheese locations and over 120 Peter Piper Pizza venues across 45 states and 18 countries, CEC Entertainment plays an influential role in creating joyful experiences for children and families worldwide. The company is passionate about safety, community support, and innovation, as evidenced by initiatives like Kid Check® and its substantial donations to schools and nonprofits exceeding $24 million. In 2025, Chuck E. Cheese was recognized with the "Best in STEM" award and named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces, highlighting its commitment to both innovation and employee well-being.
The Senior Assistant Manager role at CEC Entertainment is a vital leadership position tasked with ensuring an exceptional guest experience at Chuck E. Cheese locations. This position requires an individual who can manage not just the operational aspects of the restaurant but also the expectations of guests and team members alike. Senior Assistant Managers play a crucial role in equipping employees with the necessary resources, training, and motivation to deliver outstanding customer service, maintain cleanliness, and uphold company standards consistently. The role demands strong decision-making skills in daily operations such as staff scheduling, time management, inventory control, and financial oversight.
As a Senior Assistant Manager, you will oversee building sales and maximizing profits by effectively recruiting, training, and developing your team. You will take pride in coaching and motivating employees to maintain high-quality service and safety standards, ensuring every guest leaves happy. The role offers competitive hourly compensation ranging from $20.27 to $22.52, along with commission potential on membership sales and Fun Passes sold, paid out biweekly. Additionally, employees benefit from the innovative "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program, which provides access to earned wages sooner than traditional payroll cycles.
This position not only requires a deep understanding of business processes like cost control, financial accounting, and labor management but also a natural ability to lead with ethics and integrity. Candidates must be prepared to work in an energetic environment featuring flashing lights, loud noises, and varying temperature conditions, consistent with a family entertainment venue. The job also involves physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
CEC Entertainment offers a rich comprehensive benefits package, which is designed to support employees nationwide. Benefits include health care options, 401(k) retirement plans, employee assistance and tuition programs, meal discounts, and legal coverage. Full-time employees receive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits, paid time off, holidays, and additional financial support. Both part-time and full-time roles are supported with programs catering to diverse employee needs, reflecting CEC's dedication to inclusivity and workforce welfare.
Joining CEC Entertainment means becoming part of a company that values diversity, fosters a culture of inclusion, and actively promotes fun and play as essential aspects of its brand identity. The Senior Assistant Manager position represents an exciting opportunity for professionals passionate about hospitality, management, and contributing to memorable family experiences in a thriving and supportive organization.
