  • Experience with soldering and hand tools
  • Ability to read and understand drawings and work instructions
  • Proficiency in data entry and computer use

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience using small hand tools
  • Knowledge of soldering techniques and standards

Job Duties

  • Attend to detail for parts and measurements as small changes have a large impact
  • Use MS Office to enter data taken during measurements and tests
  • Read and interpret drawings and work instructions
  • Use small hand tools such as crimpers, wire strippers, screwdriver, wire cutters
  • Solder and apply solder paste according to J-610 standards
  • Solder and tin wires and use Volt-Ohm meter
  • Mix and apply materials and coatings
  • Operate and monitor curing ovens
  • Select and use taps and dies correctly
  • Assemble mechanical assemblies to released documentation
  • Perform audits of materials issued to jobs
  • Create labels for assemblies according to drawings or OMS specifications
  • Comply with Non-Conformance (NC) process after training
  • Build cable/harness assemblies to drawings or OMS
