The Senior Analyst, Digital Shelf & Content Syndication position at Bimbo Bakeries USA is an exciting and strategic role situated within the Omnichannel team. Reporting to the Manager of Product Information Management, this position is responsible for spearheading digital shelf strategies and managing content syndication activities across multiple retailer and digital commerce platforms. The Senior Analyst works closely with a broad array of internal stakeholders such as sales, branding, and packaging graphics teams, as well as external agencies, retailers, and content syndication providers. This role is crucial to optimizing product content for discoverability, engagement, and conversion, ultimately driving digital shelf performance for all company brands.

A key focus of this role includes overseeing content syndication through platforms like Salsify, Syndigo, and NIQ, ensuring that product information is accurately and promptly published in line with retailer requirements. The Senior Analyst also leads initiatives to audit and enhance product detail pages (PDPs), conduct content performance analyses, and implement governance and best practices to maintain quality and scalability of content operations. They are expected to communicate complex performance data and provide actionable insights to stakeholders and leadership. This role demands a strong understanding of SEO, AEO, and other digital content strategies to maximize online visibility and sales potential.

Candidates considered for this role should hold a bachelor’s degree preferably in Marketing, Business, Communications, Analytics, or a related discipline, with 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in digital shelf strategy, content syndication, product information management, ecommerce, or omnichannel commerce. Experience within CPG, retail, or digital commerce environments is highly valued. The role offers a salary range of $66,600 to $86,600 and eligibility for an annual bonus, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off and a 401k plan with company match.

Job Duties

  • Lead digital shelf strategy and content syndication execution across all brands and retailer network channels
  • Develop and implement content strategies that improve product discoverability, visibility, engagement, and conversion
  • Manage product content syndication through platforms including Salsify, Syndigo, and NIQ
  • Oversee content deployment across retailer channels and ensure compliance with retailer-specific content requirements
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve publication issues to ensure accurate and timely content deployment
  • Manage retailer channel mappings, syndication configurations, and direct retailer connections to support accurate content distribution
  • Update and maintain retailer assortments to ensure products are published accurately and distributed correctly across retailer platforms
  • Review and approve product content, item records, and content submissions within retailer and syndication platforms
  • Partner with external agencies on content creation, optimization, and execution initiatives
  • Optimize product content across SEO and AEO copy, MRHI, imagery, enhanced content, and more
  • Conduct content audits and competitive benchmarking to identify opportunities for optimization and performance improvement
  • Measure content performance using available tools and translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • Audit retailer product detail pages (PDPs) to ensure content accuracy, completeness, and content health
  • Manage direct retailer channel connections and maintain syndication mappings across retailer networks
  • Lead content governance initiatives, process improvements, and best practice development
  • Collaborate with Sales, Brand, Packaging Graphics, and other cross-functional teams to align content priorities and business objectives
  • Partner with external retailers, agencies, and syndication providers to support content execution and issue resolution
  • Identify content gaps, operational inefficiencies, and process improvement opportunities
  • Maintain documentation, reporting, and governance processes to support scalable content operations
  • Communicate performance insights, content recommendations, and strategic initiatives to stakeholders and leadership
  • Maintain content workflows, governance processes, and business rules that support scalable and efficient content operations
  • Support additional digital shelf, content strategy, and syndication initiatives as needed
