Job Description
Anduril Industries is a cutting-edge defense technology company dedicated to transforming the capabilities of the U.S. and allied military forces through advanced technology innovation. By integrating the expertise, business models, and technological advances characteristic of the 21st century's most innovative industries, Anduril is redefining how military systems are conceived, built, and sold. At the heart of its portfolio is Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that synthesizes thousands of data streams into a real-time, 3D command and control center, enhancing battlefield awareness and decision-making. As the global strategic environment changes, Anduril is committed to delivering state-of-the-art autonomy, artificial intelligence, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technologies rapidly, shifting traditional defense procurement timelines from years to mere months.
The Senior Aftermarket Parts Planner position at Anduril is a pivotal role within the Planning team, focused on managing the supply chain and inventory requirements for Field Service and Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) items. This role is fundamentally responsible for ensuring the availability of critical spare parts, consumables, and maintenance materials across Anduril's deployed assets, which are vital for maintaining operational readiness and minimizing downtime. The role demands ownership for strategic procurement decisions and the coordination of material flows throughout the value chain to support maintenance activities seamlessly.
As a Senior Field Service Parts Planner, the candidate will own inventory planning and strategy for designated asset lines and deployment sites. They will act as the key communicator of demand signals to Purchasing and Maintenance teams, forecasting intermittent and critical demands accurately, and maintaining inventory levels that balance operational requirements with cost optimization. This position requires expertise in ERP software like Oracle and Netsuite, alongside CRM systems such as Salesforce, to effectively manage data, signals, and workflows. The role involves collaboration across Field Service, Maintenance, Operations, and Reliability Engineering teams to refine inventory strategies, develop critical spares lists especially for demanding deployment environments, and deploy effective inventory controls including min/max levels, safety stocks, and reorder points.
Candidates should have a demonstrated history of proactively solving complex operational challenges, particularly in fast-moving, resource-constrained settings. The ability to thrive under pressure, multi-task, and execute with agility while maintaining high accuracy is essential. Flexibility and responsiveness to varied operational demands, coupled with outstanding communication and collaboration skills, will be critical for success. The position is based onsite in Costa Mesa, California, and may require up to 10% travel. The role offers a competitive salary range of $129,000 to $171,000 USD, alongside comprehensive equity grants and top-tier employee benefits, reinforcing Anduril’s commitment to nurturing its people and fostering a supportive work environment.
