ABM (NYSE: ABM) is a leading global provider of facility services and solutions committed to creating cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable environments. With more than a century of experience since its founding in 1909, ABM serves over 20,000 clients and employs more than 100,000 team members across over 350 offices in the United States, United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, and other international locations. ABM’s extensive portfolio spans janitorial, engineering, parking, electrical and lighting, energy and electric vehicle charging infrastructure, HVAC and mechanical, landscape and turf, and mission-critical solutions, catering to a wide range of industries including commercial office buildings, universities, airports, hospitals, data centers, manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and entertainment venues.

The Senior Account Manager position at ABM is a key role focused on developing existing accounts within a defined territory, including Technical Solutions. This is a strategic and client-facing position where the incumbent will work closely with existing clients to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of their current service programs. Leveraging a team of subject matter experts, the Senior Account Manager will design and implement tailored sales strategies that may involve individual or bundled solutions to address client needs effectively. This role is responsible for owning the entire strategic selling process, clearly communicating value propositions, and ensuring client issues are resolved satisfactorily.

This position requires managing the complete account lifecycle, including orchestrating the sales process and implementing robust account management programs. This includes the transition process for new business to ensure smooth onboarding and deployment of services. The role demands collaboration across multiple ABM service lines such as HVAC, Sheet Metal, Preventative Maintenance, Building Automation Systems, as well as lighting, power, energy, and eMobility teams. The Senior Account Manager will engage in preparing precise estimates for contracts, developing pricing options, and presenting compelling proposals to clients at executive levels. Additionally, the role involves utilizing Salesforce.com to track sales activities and coordinating with both sales and operations teams to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Compensation for this position includes a base salary ranging from $85,785 to $159,315 annually, complemented by bonuses and an auto allowance. ABM offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees’ professional and personal well-being, fostering a rewarding and growth-oriented work environment.

Candidates for this position should bring at least eight years of experience in facilities services or account management, a hunter mentality for service sales, and the ability to manage complex sales cycles with leadership and persuasive communication skills. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software such as Salesforce.com. Candidates must be willing to reside in the area and have reliable transportation.

By joining ABM as a Senior Account Manager, you become part of a veteran-friendly and equal opportunity employer that values diversity and inclusion while offering extensive training and career advancement opportunities.
