Job Description

ABM is a premier global provider of facility services and solutions, renowned for improving the environments and operational efficiencies of thousands of clients across diverse industries. Established in 1909, ABM has grown into one of the largest facility services companies worldwide, currently serving over 20,000 clients with an extensive team of more than 100,000 employees spread across 350+ offices internationally, including the United States, United Kingdom, and the Republic of Ireland. ABM's comprehensive portfolio includes janitorial, engineering, parking, electrical and lighting, energy and electric vehicle charging infrastructure, HVAC and mechanical, landscape and turf, and mission-critical solutions. ABM’s commitment to sustainability, innovation, and client satisfaction sets it apart as a leader in the facility management industry, consistently driving cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable spaces.

The company is currently seeking a Senior Account Manager to join its team, focusing on developing and expanding existing accounts within a designated territory. This role is critical within ABM’s Account Based Marketing (ABM) division, including technical solutions, and involves cultivating in-depth relationships with existing clients. The Senior Account Manager will analyze clients’ current service programs to identify strengths and areas for improvement, working closely with a team of subject matter experts to craft and execute sales strategies tailored to meet client needs. This includes selling individual services or bundled facility solutions that encompass HVAC, sheet metal, preventative maintenance, and building automation systems.

The position demands ownership of the strategic selling process, ensuring clients fully understand the value ABM delivers while effectively addressing their challenges. Key responsibilities also include managing the sales process from start to finish, implementing account management programs, and overseeing smooth transitions for new business agreements. This role requires proactive risk mitigation strategies to help clients budget efficiently, avoiding costly emergency calls by planning maintenance schedules effectively. Furthermore, the Senior Account Manager partners with other specialized teams like lighting, power, energy, and eMobility to provide comprehensive facilities solutions.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in facilities services or account management, possess a hunter mentality towards sales, and demonstrate leadership in client engagement and sales cycle management. Strong communication skills and the ability to present to executive-level audiences are essential to succeed in this role. Candidates should be adept at writing detailed sales proposals and managing multiple processes simultaneously, with a keen motivation for professional and financial growth. Familiarity with Salesforce.com or similar CRM tools, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, is required.

This is a full-time role offering a competitive salary range from $85,785 to $159,315 base pay, supplemented by bonuses and an auto allowance. Successful applicants may also qualify for participation in ABM's incentive and bonus programs. ABM provides a comprehensive benefits package that supports the well-being and growth of its employees. The company values diversity, equal opportunity, and inclusivity, proudly supporting military veterans and committing to reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities.

Join ABM to leverage your expertise in facilities services sales and account management while contributing to a company with a rich history and a commitment to sustainability, innovation, and excellence in client service. ABM's world-class training and development opportunities ensure that you will continuously advance your professional journey within a supportive and dynamic environment.
