Job Description

ABM (NYSE: ABM) is a leading global provider of facility services and solutions with a legacy dating back to 1909. As one of the world’s largest companies in this industry, ABM operates with a commitment to creating cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable environments. The company offers a broad range of essential services and advanced performance solutions that enhance the spaces and places that matter most to clients, including janitorial, engineering, parking, electrical and lighting, energy and electric vehicle charging infrastructure, HVAC and mechanical, landscape and turf management, and mission critical solutions. ABM serves a highly diverse client base ranging from commercial office buildings, universities, and airports to hospitals, data centers, manufacturing plants, distribution centers, entertainment venues, and more. With over 100,000 team members across 350 offices in the United States, United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, and other international locations, ABM’s annualized revenue approaches $8 billion. The company is committed to inclusion and equal opportunity employment, offering accommodations for individuals with disabilities and participating in the U.S. Department of Homeland Security E-Verify program. ABM is also recognized as a military-friendly employer supporting veterans transitioning into civilian careers.

The Senior Account Manager role at ABM is a pivotal position tasked with developing existing accounts within a defined geographic territory, focusing significantly on Account Based Marketing (ABM) that includes Technical Solutions. This position entails working closely with existing clients to analyze their current service programs’ strengths and weaknesses with the goal of identifying opportunities for improvement and growth. The Senior Account Manager collaborates with a diverse team of subject matter experts to design, propose, and implement sales strategies tailored to the client’s specific needs—whether for individual solutions or bundled service packages.

This role requires owning the entire strategic selling process and effectively communicating the value propositions of ABM’s services to resolve client challenges. The successful candidate will lead the orchestration of the sales cycle, including managing account transitions and new business implementations, to ensure client satisfaction and retention. The role involves preparing detailed pricing and maintenance contract proposals, partnering with specialists in HVAC, sheet metal, preventative maintenance, building automation systems, lighting, power, energy, and eMobility to deliver comprehensive facilities solutions. Additionally, the Senior Account Manager develops risk-mitigation strategies to eliminate costly emergency calls, benchmarks client facilities against industry standards to identify inefficiencies, and builds strong business relationships to secure trust and ongoing contract renewals.

The compensation package for this role includes a base salary ranging from $85,785 to $159,315, an attractive bonus program, and an auto allowance. The pay range reflects consideration of factors such as experience, skills, education, geographic location, and market data alignment. ABM also provides a comprehensive benefits package to support the health, well-being, and professional growth of its employees. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional with over eight years of experience in facilities services and account management who is eager to leverage their expertise, sales acumen, and leadership to drive business growth within a respected, large-scale company.
