Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in sales
- Ability to travel within NYC territory
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint
- Availability to work evening hours including corporate and customer events
- Possession of a vehicle for territory travel
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as a self-starter
- Preferred four-year degree
- Hospitality industry experience preferred
- Tech savvy to leverage AI and manage system platforms
Job Qualifications
- 3 years in sales (within consumer-packaged goods industry preferred)
- Ability to travel as needed throughout respected territory: NYC
- Ability to sell value, manage sales processes and think critically into covered accounts
- Proficient with Power Point and Microsoft Office
- Open to work into the evening (hospitality industry hours up to around 8PM)
- Available for evening corporate and customer events (up to around 10PM)
- Vehicle required (must travel with POS items)
- Tech savvy (able to leverage AI to be bring a creative approach to sales/out of box thinkers)
- Comfortable with managing system platforms
- Demonstrated ability to act autonomously
- Self-starter, goal oriented, excellent planning skills
- Four-year degree preferred
- Hospitality industry experience in NYC preferred
Job Duties
- Partners with customers to develop and introduce a sales plan that will generate the desired growths in volume and profitability
- Demonstrated ability to be highly strategic, interpersonal and analytical
- Performs regular business reviews with customers within territory
- Sell-in their day-to-day volumes and implement promotional strategies for the introduction of new brands and packages
- Ensures customers are following the agreement set with the company
- Interacts with distribution team and communicates with customers on distribution updates
- Reviews DOS/Inventory report daily and share inventory status with customers
- Works with planning team to guarantee supply chain metrics (IE: OTIF) are satisfactory
