The role of an Account Executive at Pace Analytical is pivotal in expanding the company’s market presence and deepening customer relationships. This full-time position operates from Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, focusing on promoting and selling Pace Analytical services within an assigned territory. The Account Executive is responsible for increasing market share by driving new business growth and enhancing wallet share among existing customers. This involves evaluating customer needs firsthand, offering expert counsel on service capabilities, and negotiating sales agreements effectively.
Candidates for this role will be engaged in maintaining customer records with automated systems, analyzing sales data to identify trends, and assisting in the development and management of sales projects. Additionally, the Account Executive provides training and guidance to new Account Executives on sales tactics, contributing to the overall team’s success. This role demands a solid understanding of sales principles, specialized knowledge of the environment testing industry, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly.

Job Requirements
- bachelor's degree in business administration, chemistry, operations or related field
- five years of customer support experience including specialized programs or equivalent
- valid driver's license
- ability to maintain all required licenses and certificates in active status
- strong knowledge of sales strategies and sales control systems
- ability to resolve sales and customer problems
- understanding of applicable sales laws
- proficient with computer applications
- effective communication and presentation skills
- ability to work both independently and in a team
- attention to detail and discretion in professional interactions
Job Qualifications
- bachelor's degree in business administration, chemistry, operations or a related field
- five years of customer support experience including specialized program operations or equivalent education, training and experience
- valid driver's license
- knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting and selling products or services
- complex understanding of sales effectiveness principles
- familiarity with sales laws, codes and regulations
- proficiency in computer applications related to work
- strong communication and presentation skills
Job Duties
- increase market share through new business growth and increase wallet share of existing customers in assigned territory
- visit customer establishments to evaluate needs or to promote services as needed
- maintain customer records using automated systems
- negotiate prices or terms of sales or service agreements
- contact new or existing customers to discuss how specific products/services can meet their needs
- maintain an in-depth knowledge of complete line of services
- analyze and review operations, results, feedback and related sales information to determine trends and present findings
- provide guidance and participate in training new Account Executives on sales tactics
