The Dishwasher role at Aramark is an entry-level position essential to maintaining the cleanliness and safety of kitchen operations. As a Dishwasher, you are the unsung hero ensuring all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils are meticulously cleaned and sanitized to meet high safety and hygiene standards. This position plays a vital role in supporting the culinary team by maintaining the dishwashing station, three-compartment sinks, and related kitchen areas in an immaculate state. You will also be responsible for ensuring that equipment is clean and functional while promptly reporting any maintenance issues. Job Requirements

  • must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • must be able to follow basic safety procedures due to exposure to hazardous chemicals
  • must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • must demonstrate an understanding of basic sanitation procedures
  • must be able to perform light maintenance and custodial tasks
  • must maintain excellent customer service and positive attitude
  • must adhere to company safety policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • demonstrates an understanding of basic sanitation procedures
  • ability to maintain cleanliness of dishes, kitchen equipment, and work areas
  • effective communication skills

  • previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required

Job Duties

  • ensure guest satisfaction by maintaining all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, glasses, equipment, and kitchen utensils are cleaned and sanitized
  • maintain dishwashing station, three compartment sink and related areas cleaned
  • ensure equipment is clean and in working condition, report any issues to management
  • perform other light maintenance and custodial tasks
  • maintain excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
  • adhere to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
  • ensure security of company assets
