Westport Properties is currently seeking a full-time Assistant Manager to join their team at the Bend - Powers, OR location. This position reports directly to the District Manager and has a non-exempt status. The work schedule primarily runs from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM with weekend availability required, and the role offers a competitive hourly pay range of $17.50 to $18.50. The Assistant Manager will be expected to travel 10-25% of the time. The Assistant Manager will play a key role in driving the success of the facility by effectively marketing and selling self-storage solutions while providing outstanding customer service. They will have the responsibility of working independently and managing daily operations both inside the office and outdoors onsite. Duties include maintaining high standards of property care, cleanliness, and readiness of rental spaces, processing payments accurately, and engaging customers to ensure a positive experience. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are essential to performing these duties, as some responsibilities require mobility around the property and occasional travel.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Effective 5/7/25 must have a Real ID or Passport to travel to San Antonio training center
- Ability to work weekends
- Ability to transport lift/move items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to walk up to 50% of the time in outdoor environments
- Ability to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks including sweeping and mopping
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable transportation
- Pass a post-offer background screening including multi-state criminal check and DMV records
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail, restaurant, fast food, hospitality, customer service, sales or self-storage experience is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer proficiency
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to handle cash and perform payment processing accurately
