This role is essential in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment for all guests and employees within our hotel and the surrounding property. As a Security Officer under the direct supervision of the Director of Security, you will patrol and monitor designated areas to safeguard people and property. This position demands vigilance to anticipate potential issues, respond effectively to disturbances, and promptly handle emergency situations, thereby minimizing loss or damage. You will supervise fellow security officers and dispatchers, ensuring all security operations run smoothly. Work conditions include variable temperature environments, exposure to noise, outdoor and indoor settings, as well as potential exposure to fumes, odors, dust, mites, and chemicals. Key internal relationships involve all hotel staff, while external interactions include guests, visitors, police and fire departments, vendors, and contractors. Excellent judgment, clear communication, and calm problem-solving skills are vital to success. Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- High school graduate
- Fluency in English both verbal and non-verbal

Job Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned hotel and surrounding property areas to ensure safety and security
- Anticipate and react to potential problems, disturbances, and prohibited activities promptly
- Respond to emergency situations ensuring the safety of guests and employees
- Supervise security officers and dispatchers to maintain effective team operations
- Maintain clear and detailed communication and documentation
