Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of security experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently
- Prior experience in hospitality security preferred

- Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances
- This is an AM Mid position with shifts starting between 7am-11am flexible availability is required including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Supervise and schedule the security team including officers patrol staff and access control personnel ensure staffing coverage across all shifts including nights weekends and major events
- Conduct regular patrols of the property public areas back-of-house loading docks parking garage event convention spaces to identify security risks safety hazards or policy violations
- Respond promptly and appropriately to security incidents physical safety theft disturbance fire alarm medical emergency and investigate reports prepare incident reports escalate as needed and recommend corrective action
- Ensure compliance with local state and federal laws and Hyatt brand security standards maintain records of incidents access logs and ensure audit readiness
- Coordinate with local law enforcement fire department and first responder agencies when needed serve as hotel liaison in investigations or major incident responses
- Oversee and enforce key control CCTV surveillance systems electronic access systems and panic duress alarms ensure all systems are functional and correctly monitored
- Develop train and coach security staff on standard operating procedures emergency response protocols evacuation lockdown active-shooter natural disaster crowd management guest relations and Hyatt service expectations
