Hall of Fame Village is a premier multi-use sports, entertainment, and media destination located in Canton, Ohio, centered around the world-renowned Pro Football Hall of Fame campus. This expansive campus spans over 100 acres and features a diverse array of immersive experiences designed for dining, shopping, and entertainment, making it a top destination for sports and leisure enthusiasts alike. The Village includes eight distinct venues, such as the Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium, a world-class 23,000-seat stadium featuring luxury suites, rooftop cabanas, and premium spaces ideal for private, corporate, and special events. Other highlights include the ForeverLawn Sports Complex with its seven turfed multipurpose fields equipped with tournament-quality lighting, hospitality services, and facilities for ticketing, coaching, and medical support. The Center for Performance, the largest inflatable domed facility in the country, offers year-round capacity for various events. The Constellation Center for Excellence serves as a 75,000-square-foot mixed-use space dedicated to sports-centric research, programming, office, and retail opportunities. Additionally, the Fan Engagement Zone is an 82,000-square-foot retail promenade with a sports and entertainment theme, while Play Action Plaza provides 3.5 acres of green space complete with amusement rides, an outdoor amphitheater, bar area, food truck space, a walking path, and Ohio’s largest man-made water feature. Current developments include a 144,000-square-foot football-themed waterpark along with a seven-story, 130,000-square-foot Hilton Tapestry Hotel. Phase III of the development is currently in the planning stages, reflecting a commitment to continuous growth and improvement at the Village. The Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Company along with its subsidiaries uphold principles of equal opportunity employment, fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment.
The Part Time Event Security Staff at Hall of Fame Village play a crucial role in maintaining the safety, security, and positive experience for all visitors, guests, clients, vendors, and staff across the expansive campus. This hourly, non-exempt position involves providing property security and asset protection throughout the buildings and grounds of the Village. Staff members are expected to deliver superior guest services, serving as approachable points of contact who respond promptly and professionally to any complaints, security breaches, theft control issues, or incidents that may arise. Their duties include patrolling the property to identify and communicate issues, monitoring surveillance cameras and video feed from the control room, and ensuring that all security spaces and equipment are properly prepared to support security operations. The role demands a flexible work schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed, reflecting the dynamic nature of events held at the Village.
Candidates for this position should have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED, with an Associate’s degree or certification preferred. The role requires physical capabilities such as lifting up to 25 pounds regularly, working in various Ohio weather conditions, moving safely over uneven terrain, and the ability to maintain alertness and responsiveness to potential hazards. A valid driver’s license is required along with the ability to work independently while exhibiting strong judgment and discretion regarding confidential matters. Hall of Fame Village values core competencies such as vision and strategic thinking, entrepreneurship, integrity, accountability for results, relationship management, learning agility, coaching and development, and execution.
