This part-time security officer role within the 11926 BayCare Leased Employees - Public Safety department is critical in maintaining a safe and secure environment across Advocate Health facilities. The position is part-time, with a commitment of 24 hours per week, specifically covering the 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with additional hours available on a per diem basis. Compensation for this role ranges from $21.85 to $32.80 per hour, reflecting the importance of the responsibilities and the experience required.

The Security Officer plays an essential role in delivering a professional, customer-service-oriented security presence. This position requires the officer to uphold safety and security policies with fairness, compassion, and professionalism, even under challenging circumstances. Key aspects of the role include conducting interior and exterior patrols to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities, hazards, and fire risks, as well as performing contraband searches, managing patient valuables, and executing safety inspections.
