Established in 1954 and designed by legendary architect Morris Lapidus, Fontainebleau is known for blending Golden Era glamour with modern luxury to create an unparalleled guest experience. The hotel stands as one of Miami Beach's most historically and architecturally significant landmarks, recognized for its striking design and vibrant atmosphere that seamlessly integrates contemporary art, music, fashion, and technology. Fontainebleau invites guests to enjoy a multifaceted venue where they can play, shop, dine, spa, meet, or relax in a uniquely crafted environment that redefines hospitality and leisure. This prestigious establishment prides itself on offering world-class service and an international appeal that attracts visitors from around the globe.
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Director of Safety, Security & Training to join the TEAMBLEAU family. This key leadership role is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the entire hotel while fostering an environment of continuous learning and preparedness. The Director will develop and implement comprehensive safety and loss prevention programs throughout the property, ensuring compliance with OSHA requirements and other regulatory standards. A major component of this role involves creating and delivering effective training materials and sessions for all hotel departments, collaborating closely with law enforcement and human resources to ensure that staff are well-equipped to manage safety challenges and security risks. This position is ideal for an experienced safety professional who demonstrates strong leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders. By enhancing the hotel’s safety infrastructure and training protocols, the Director plays a crucial part in safeguarding Fontainebleau’s distinguished reputation and maintaining an exceptional guest experience. This is a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to a historic hotel while working in a dynamic, luxury hospitality environment.
