As a Security Officer at Securitas, you will be entrusted with protecting client premises and people by maintaining vigilant oversight and responding swiftly to any incidents. Alongside elite training programs, you will develop skills in conflict resolution, emergency response, and patrol operations in diverse environments and weather conditions. Your daily duties will include access control management, observing and reporting safety hazards or suspicious activities, and delivering detailed written reports. This position requires excellent customer service skills, frequent interaction with client employees and guests, and the capability to operate effectively both individually and in team settings.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • valid driver's license and clear driving record preferred
  • ability to participate in pre-employment screening including drug test and background check
  • able to remain calm and professional
  • able to respond appropriately to emergencies
  • able to maintain vigilance and attention throughout shifts

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or ability to complete GED within 6 months
  • standard computer and technology skills
  • customer service experience preferred
  • security, law enforcement, or military experience a plus
  • ability to interact professionally with diverse individuals
  • attention to detail and alertness during shifts
  • rapid and effective judgment in emergencies

Job Duties

  • Resolve conflicts and de-escalate situations
  • perform access control at security entrances and exits
  • conduct patrols inside and outside client premises in various weather and terrain conditions
