Job Description

GardaWorld Security Services is a leading global security solutions provider dedicated to delivering sophisticated and tailored security services across a wide range of industries. With a commitment to excellence, GardaWorld employs and trains highly skilled, professional security officers who ensure safety and protection in various environments, including office towers, hotels, shopping centers, and more. Renowned for its world-class training programs and dedication to client satisfaction, GardaWorld stands out as the only guarding security company in the United States to be certified by Great Place to Work. This prestigious certification underscores the company’s commitment to providing an exceptional workplace culture and supporting career growth opportunities for its team members.

The current opportunity is for the position of Concierge Security Officer located in Tracy, California. This role is a temporary position with a work schedule of 40 hours per week from Tuesday to Saturday, working 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, and has the potential to become permanent by August 2026. The hourly wage is competitive at $22 per hour, with daily pay options available for GardaWorld employees. In addition, GardaWorld offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, a 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matching contributions, paid holidays, disability coverage, and life insurance options. The company also provides uniforms at no cost.

As a Concierge Security Officer, the role demands a strong customer service focus since you will be the face of security in environments where frequent interactions with visitors and occupants occur. Your ability to build meaningful connections will help reassure and inspire confidence in both visitors and staff. Responsibilities include welcoming and verifying the identity of visitors, managing access control, performing regular patrols to detect potential risks, inspecting security equipment, responding to incidents, administering first aid if necessary, coordinating with emergency teams, answering inquiries by phone or in person, and writing detailed incident reports. Your efforts contribute significantly to the safety and protection of people and property within the assigned site.

The role is ideal for individuals with exceptional customer service skills, basic computer and phone proficiency, and at least one year of security experience. Having prior experience in security, military, or law enforcement is a plus, as is possessing a state security license (BSIS Guard Card) along with the requisite 32-hour BSIS security training. Additional training can be completed during the hiring process if needed. GardaWorld values ambition, entrepreneurial spirit, and the drive to advance one’s career within the company. Approximately 26% of corporate employees at GardaWorld began their careers as frontline workers, highlighting the strong career progression potential. If you are looking to join a company that offers more than just a job — a pathway to personal and professional growth — then this role at GardaWorld Security Services could be the perfect fit.
