  • Ability to make quick decisions and handle volatile situations appropriately
  • Ability to respond to acts of aggression using the force continuum
  • Familiarity with front of house emergency procedures
  • Ability to assist with injury and medical protocols
  • Ability to assist patrons with ADA and special needs
  • Ability to provide accurate venue logistic information
  • Ability to document and write detailed statements
  • Ability to read event tickets in dim lighting
  • Ability to climb stairs repeatedly
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum age of 21
  • Prior military, police, or security background a plus but not required
  • Must qualify for licenses and permits as required by law
  • Must comply with physical and mental requirements
  • Able to work in noisy, dark environments for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Prior customer service experience preferred
  • Experience in theater, show or event settings highly desired
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to maintain composure under stressful situations
  • Successful completion of Security Academy within first 30 days
  • Ability to make sound decisions during emergencies
  • Familiarity with force continuum concepts
  • Ability to provide first aid and CPR
  • Knowledge of venue logistics and emergency protocols
  • Ability to document incidents thoroughly
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Prior military, police, or security experience considered an asset but not mandatory

Job Duties

  • Maintain safety and well-being of guests and team members
  • Give directions and escort guests/customers as needed
  • Set up wanding stations and check bags entering the venue
  • Communicate effectively with security and showroom management
  • Provide assistance to civil and law enforcement authorities including court testimony
  • Conduct chip fills and jackpot verifications
  • Provide escorts for money and personnel in money-handling positions
  • Administer first aid including CPR when required
  • Patrol property to identify safety hazards and security breaches
  • Investigate and document incidents according to company policy
  • Assist with lost and found inquiries
  • Enforce company policies and procedures
  • Ensure the theater is in operating condition including emergency exits and AED equipment
  • Attend pre-shift meetings and be prepared with company equipment
  • Collaborate with showroom managers to manage VIP guest needs and seating
  • Make decisions affecting customer flow with sound judgment
  • Monitor assigned area for safety, cleanliness, and functionality
  • Respond promptly to patron needs and concerns
  • Remain alert at assigned posts and locations
  • Report issues requiring security assistance
  • Retrieve lost items at event conclusion for lost and found
  • Submit required reports as directed
