The Security Officer role at Securitas is a full-time position based in Salt Lake City, Utah, notably at the location 4021 S 700 E, Suite 100. The position offers a competitive hourly wage between $18.00 and $19.50. Occupying this position involves performing duties such as conflict resolution, de-escalation, frequent interaction with client employees and guests, identifying and reporting safety issues or suspicious activities, and ensuring the completion of assigned rounds. Front desk responsibilities like creating visitor badges and answering phones are also integral parts of the job. Utilizing technology is necessary throughout the shift, along with conducting property tours when required.

Candidates for the Security Officer role should be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED. Strong computer and technological skills are essential, while experience in security, law enforcement, or military sectors is highly valued. Job Duties

  • Conflict resolution and de-escalation
  • Frequent interactions with client employees and guests
  • Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity
  • Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed
  • Front desk / access control duties such as creating badges for visitors and answering phones
  • Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests
  • Utilizing technology devices throughout shift
  • Conduct tours of the property
  • Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site
