Security Officer - Open Interview Wednesdays 10AM - 2PM

The Security Officer role at Securitas is an essential position responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for the company's clients. The Security Officer accomplishes this by actively monitoring properties through patrols and access control, ensuring that personnel, visitors, and the premises comply with regulations and directives. This position requires vigilance in identifying potential risks, responding to emergencies with sound judgment, and delivering excellent customer service to clients and their guests. The position is full-time with a wage range of $18.00 to $19.50 per hour, and open interviews are conducted every Wednesday from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Salt Lake City, Utah location.

The role involves routine interactions with client employees and guests, conflict resolution, de-escalation techniques, and comprehensive reporting of any safety concerns or suspicious activity. Security Officers will also utilize technology throughout their shifts, conduct property tours, and complete assigned rounds and tasks as specified for each site. Securitas seeks candidates who are 18 years or older, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and demonstrate above-average computer and technology skills.
