The Security Officer Concierge Desk role based in Orlando, FL, offers an important position within Allied Universal’s professional front desk team at a prominent financial institution. This full-time, day-shift role, operating from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily from Monday to Sunday, with a competitive pay rate of $18.87 per hour, is integral in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment for clients, visitors, and staff. The Security Officer Concierge is the frontline representative, tasked with greeting visitors, managing access control, and monitoring lobby and reception areas to ensure strict adherence to security protocols.
In this visible and interactive role, the Security Officer Concierge Desk serves multiple functions beyond standard security practices. Job Duties
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, visitor intake, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a front desk location
- monitor lobby and reception areas, verify identification and access permissions, and document guest arrivals, deliveries, and/or service requests in accordance with location protocols
- respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to the appropriate personnel when needed
- answer questions, provide directions, and support a professional front desk presence while helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptions within the location
- complete reports and maintain accurate front desk records related to access activity, incidents, and/or daily operations in alignment with site expectations
