With a strong presence in various sectors such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers, GardaWorld Security Services ensures a safe and secure environment for their clients through advanced security protocols and exceptional customer service.

The Concierge Security Officer position at GardaWorld Security Services, based in Virginia Beach, VA, is a full-time role that emphasizes excellent customer service along with maintaining a secure environment. This unique role requires an individual capable of building meaningful connections and inspiring confidence by engaging naturally and professionally with visitors and clients. The schedule is well-defined, with shifts on Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 8am to 4pm, and weekends on Saturday and Sunday from 6am to 2pm. The position offers a competitive hourly wage of $19.00, with the added benefit of DailyPay availability for immediate access to earned wages.

As a Concierge Security Officer, you are the frontline ambassador representing GardaWorld Security at high-profile sites, such as office buildings, hotels, and shopping centers. Your responsibilities include welcoming and verifying visitors, managing access control, conducting regular patrols to identify risks, inspecting security equipment, and responding promptly to incidents. Additionally, this role involves answering inquiries both in person and over the phone, writing detailed incident reports, and coordinating with emergency teams when necessary. Comprehensive benefits accompany this role, including medical, dental, and vision insurance plans, a 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matching contributions, paid time off, paid holidays, disability coverage, and life insurance options. Uniforms are provided at no cost, enhancing professionalism and team identity.

GardaWorld Security Services values exceptional customer service skills, proficiency in basic phone and computer operations, and a strong sense of responsibility to ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property. The ideal candidate must hold an active DCJS license, a valid driver's license, be at least 21 years old, and able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED. Experience in security, military, or law enforcement fields is highly advantageous but not mandatory. All employment offers are contingent upon successful background checks and drug screenings, reinforcing GardaWorld’s commitment to maintaining a secure workplace.
