DSI is currently expanding its team in Houston, TX, and is seeking a dedicated Concierge Security Officer to join its ranks. The Concierge Security Officer role is a unique combination of traditional security duties intertwined with exceptional customer service and administrative functions. This position requires an individual who is highly professional, approachable, and detail-oriented, with the ability to leverage technology effectively in a fast-paced setting. The officer will serve as the critical first point of contact for all visitors, employees, vendors, and guests, ensuring a welcoming and secure environment.

In this role, the Concierge Security Officer will operate under DSI’s strict policies and client-specific requirements to maintain a safe and orderly environment. Responsibilities span monitoring access control systems, verifying visitor credentials, conducting patrols, observing and reporting any suspicious activity, and maintaining accurate and timely records. The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills and be proficient in computer usage, including email and web-based applications, to support various security and administrative tasks. The pay rate for this position is $15.82 per hour, with availability for second and weekend shifts. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • high school diploma or GED required
  • previous customer service, concierge, hospitality, front desk, or security experience preferred
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • basic to intermediate computer proficiency, including email and web-based applications
  • professional appearance and customer-focused demeanor
  • reliable transportation and dependable attendance
  • ability to stand, walk, and perform routine patrols as required
  • ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
  • must meet all pre-employment and licensing requirements

Job Duties
