GardaWorld Security Services is a global leader in providing sophisticated, tailored security solutions, employing highly skilled professionals dedicated to ensuring safety and security across various environments worldwide. Founded on a commitment to excellence, GardaWorld offers comprehensive security services that cater to a wide range of needs, from corporate offices and hospitality venues to retail centers and specialized tactical operations. With a reputation for innovation and reliability, GardaWorld is the only guarding security company in the United States to be certified by Great Place to Work, demonstrating its dedication not only to security but also to fostering a positive work environment and career growth opportunities for its employees.
GardaWorld Security Services is currently hiring for the position of Concierge Security Officer at its site in Folsom, CA. This role is designed for individuals who excel in customer service and security, as it involves engaging with visitors and employees in diverse public and private settings such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. The Concierge Security Officer is tasked with maintaining a welcoming yet vigilant presence, ensuring the safety and security of people and property while delivering exceptional customer service on all shifts.
This position offers a set schedule with 32 hours per week from Thursday to Sunday and 24 hours per week from Monday to Wednesday, with shifts running from 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm. It provides a competitive hourly wage of $21.50, along with access to DailyPay, an innovative payroll system that allows for immediate access to earned wages. GardaWorld also provides a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matching, paid holidays, disability coverage, and life insurance options. Furthermore, employees receive a uniform at no cost, reinforcing the professional image maintained by GardaWorld teams.
In this role, the Concierge Security Officer will primarily focus on customer-oriented security tasks such as welcoming visitors, verifying identity, and managing access control to ensure that only authorized individuals enter secure premises. Regular patrols to identify any potential security risks, inspections of security equipment, and responding promptly to incidents are integral duties that contribute to the safety of the site. The officer must be prepared to provide first aid and coordinate with emergency responders as necessary. The job also requires excellent communication skills, including answering inquiries in person or over the phone and documenting incidents through detailed reporting.
Candidates who join GardaWorld as Concierge Security Officers can expect rigorous training and support, especially if they already hold state security licenses such as the BSIS Guard Card or have completed other relevant security training. Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or the military is highly valued, though GardaWorld also provides pathways for individuals to obtain required training during the hiring process. Successful applicants must pass an extensive screening process, including background and drug tests, to meet the company’s strict standards for professionalism and integrity.
GardaWorld Security Services is committed to equal employment opportunities, ensuring a diverse and inclusive workplace free from discrimination. Employees and applicants alike benefit from a supportive environment that promotes career advancement – nearly 26 percent of the company's corporate employees began as frontline security workers, exemplifying GardaWorld’s dedication to internal growth. For motivated individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit, this role could be the gateway to a fulfilling and promising career in security.
