This job opening is for a Surveillance Security Officer role located in Orlando, FL. This is a full-time position with varying night shifts available: Sunday through Wednesday from midnight to 8:00 AM for 32 hours; Thursday through Sunday midnight to 8:00 AM for 32 hours; or Saturday through Wednesday from 4 PM to midnight for 40 hours a week. The role comes with a competitive hourly wage of $17.34, with the added advantage of DailyPay, allowing employees access to their earned wages daily. As a Surveillance Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining safety by monitoring security systems for suspicious activity and swiftly responding to potential threats before they escalate. Your responsibilities will include observing multiple security screens in various settings such as security operations centers, call centers, or parking gatehouses to detect any irregularities. Attention to detail is paramount in this role, as you will document incidents accurately by writing detailed reports and conducting regular patrols. You will be responsible for controlling access to secure areas, verifying visitor identities, and ensuring the protection of individuals and company property. Your role may also require collaboration with law enforcement in emergencies or serious situations.

Candidates qualified for this position must be authorized to work in the U.S., possess a high school diploma or GED, and successfully pass an extensive screening process including a background check and drug screening. Strong observation skills, report writing ability, technological proficiency, and exceptional concentration are essential. Experience in security, military, or law enforcement is highly preferred, and possessing a Florida Class D state license is required.
