The Security Officer role at Cherokee Nation Businesses is a safety-sensitive position focused on maintaining a secure environment for guests, vendors, and employees across all CNB facilities. As a Security Officer, individuals will be responsible for utilizing their knowledge of security protocols, surveillance technologies, and defensive tactics to prevent unauthorized activities and respond effectively to incidents. The Security Officer will be equipped with the necessary certifications such as a State of Oklahoma CLEET armed security guard license and the ability to obtain a Cherokee Nation Armed Security Officer license. The position may involve working varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, and requires the physical capability to handle duties such as lifting up to 50 pounds and working in diverse environments ranging from climate-controlled offices to outdoor weather conditions.
