This role is a full-time Security Officer position paying $19.40 per hour, with access to a Daily Pay benefit allowing team members to access their earnings as needed. The Security Officer role at Westgate Painted Mountain Golf Resort blends traditional security responsibilities with a hospitality-driven approach to service. The primary goal is to maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests, team members, and the property. The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining visible, uniformed security presence, managing access points, and acting as a first responder to emergencies, including police, fire, or medical situations.
The role requires strong communication skills, good judgment, and the ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations. Security Officers conduct routine safety and security inspections, monitor surveillance and fire alarm systems, and complete detailed incident reports to ensure the safety and security of resort guests and personnel. They also assist guests and team members with security-related concerns, manage lost and found inventory and key control, and perform additional duties such as traffic control and parking enforcement.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- must be able to lift 50lbs
- flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- required to pass a background check, drug test and motor vehicle record (MVR) check
- required to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- requires physical stamina and the ability to work indoors and outdoors, remain on your feet for extended periods, climb stairs, and move quickly for short distances as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- previous experience in security, law enforcement, military, or a related field is preferred (minimum of 1 year), but not required
- certificates in First Aid, CPR and AED highly preferred but not required
- prior hospitality or guest service experience is strongly preferred
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- proficiency with basic computer systems used to complete reports, logs, and email communication
- ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure or emergency situations
- excellent judgment, integrity, and attention to detail
Job Duties
- Serve as the first responder to police, fire, and medical incidents within the scope of Security Officer duties
- maintain a visible, uniformed security presence across assigned resort areas
- control access at designated entry and exit points
- monitor security systems, including surveillance cameras and fire alarm panels, in compliance with legal and company requirements
- conduct routine safety and security inspections following established procedures
- maintain accurate security records, logs, and checklists
- prepare clear, timely, and detailed incident reports using computer systems and email
- assist guests and team members with security related concerns and service requests
- manage lost and found inventory, key control, and accountability
- perform traffic control, parking enforcement, assist public safety officers, and complete other duties as assigned
