The Security Officer role at HHM Hotels is a vital position within the hotel’s operations, ensuring the safety and security of guests, employees, and property. This role requires a professional who can perform protective and enforcement functions in a friendly and courteous manner while maintaining a vigilant presence throughout the hotel premises. The Security Officer patrols designated areas, responds promptly to disturbances and emergencies, and maintains detailed logs and reports of daily activities and incidents. In addition to the core security responsibilities, the Security Officer assists guests with access to their rooms, escorts them when necessary, and monitors security cameras to deter or respond to suspicious activities. Job Duties

  • Patrol designated hotel areas
  • respond to disturbances and emergency situations
  • maintain a daily activity log
  • maintain confidentiality with respect to guest and employee incidents
  • prepare incident reports and communicate all related information to hotel management
  • access secured areas for authorized personnel
  • complete incident and accident reports clearly and concisely
  • escort guests to their rooms or assist with entry according to hotel standards
  • work toward increasing guest satisfaction and departmental goals
  • follow sustainability guidelines related to the EarthView program
  • practice safe work habits and follow MSDS and OSHA standards
  • monitor TV cameras if applicable
  • perform bell person tasks and assist guests with luggage
  • perform other duties as requested by management
