This role requires a proactive approach to problem solving and ensuring that hotel procedures are strictly followed to protect our guests, employees, and property. This role involves regular security patrols, monitoring access control systems, and maintaining clear communication with the Front Desk and other departments. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to use communication devices
- Customer service experience preferred
- Security experience is a plus
Job Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read, write, type and use hotel communication devices
- Ability to stand and move around for an entire shift
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Previous security experience is a bonus but not required
Job Duties
- Perform security walks throughout the hotel property and grounds, both inside and outside
- Know hotel emergency procedures and how to assist employees and guests when necessary
- Maintain key control procedures
- Ensure communication ability with the Front Desk is maintained at all times
- Ensure logs are filled out with detail
- Assist all guests with a warm, hospitable demeanor
- Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments
